Sod Installation

We may be installing the sod on the soccer field across the street, but we still have the time and dedication to care for your backyard too. MSB Landscapes takes pride in providing our customers with fine Kentucky bluegrass sod for both large and small projects. Anyone in the Welington-Dufferin and Guelph region can count on our personalized landscaping solutions.

We Install GHG Premium Bluegrass Sod provided by our local supplier Greenhorizons Sod Farms’ who've developed Leading-Edge Turfgrass Technology. It is a blend of 100% Kentucky Bluegrass cultivars selected through years of research evaluated by the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP).

We provide all inclusive sod installation starting at $1.25 per sqft for residential and commercial properties. Larger purchases are discounted at varying rates.

Old Turf Removal

MSB Landscapes will completely remove and dispose of your existing lawn. This is the first step in the sod installation process.

Ensuring Proper Grade and Topsoil Installation

Once your existing lawn has been removed our team will identify any areas where grade needs to be adjusted. Then install the required amount of top-soil and prep the area for laying the new sod.

Laying The New Sod

Once the area has been well prepped, our team will lay the new sod that was cut from the sod farm earlier that same day and your new lawn will instantly come to life.

Watering

Once your sod installation is complete, a member of our team will discuss a good watering schedule with you to ensure the long-term success and health of your new lawn.

Spring Mulching

2025 Season Mulching Pricing

3-5 yards - $185 per yard + Mulch

6-10 yards - $165 per yard + Mulch

11-20 yards - $140 per yard + Mulch

21+ yards - $125 per yard + Mulch

This pricing includes full bed prep prior to mulching; weeding and edging etc. We will also transport the mulch free of charge and we complete a full site cleanup after every job to ensure customer satisfaction.
